Cat-a-wampus

Odd. The TV remote moved.

And paused?

Unusual viewings on the movie channels.

The throw pillows have been thrown.

The magazines have traveled.

Video cameras can be scary.

We know she loves to emote.

Perhaps RC Cat shouldn’t be left in charge.

If only security cam recorded sound…

She has far too active an imagination.

Worthy of Isadora or Garbo.

Secret lives of cats tends to turns things catawampus.

Theatrics par excellence.

You know better than that. The TV remote wasn’t paused. It was pawsed. 😉

Etymology, dance and RC! This is possibly the best post ever touching on my favorite things. 🙂 I think I may be alone in saying “catty corner” vs. “kitty corner’ (or perhaps it is a family thing). My modern dance teachers always sang the praises of Martha Graham, but truly much credit should be thrown Isadora Duncan’s way. Tell RC to steer clear of the flowing scarves. My random Monday thoughts.

Actually some do say “catty/kitty corner” instead. (they have nine lives – you have to expect some regional dialects to show up?)
Mother was a devotee of Isadora (hard to survive with that in Georgetown, TX)…we had scarves – lots of scarves. No car. Did discover bikes and scarves didn’t flow very well together….
      Random rules! Thanks

Oh, one random question (goes with random thoughts). I’ve always wondered, in addition to regal and glorious, is RC also a Maine Coon?

Where she adopted us, there was a registered show Maine Coon male that escaped his house recently. We suspect he had multiple kitten mamas….She’s pretty big…uh, that’s size not fat,RC…we’d never even suggest otherwise…She’s sending an abrupt wave.

Oh, she looks so soft! I just want to cuddle up with her. But something tells me she might not allow it… 😉

She’s a nice stuffed animal when she chooses to be. And she likes to help with office work. Just ignore her – it irritates her and she has to arrive with demands for attention. Thanks for pawsing

I’m sure RC Cat’s interpretation of the decor is purrfect. There also appears to be no pea under those towels. Godd job, staff 😉

Had to giggle as she does often bring to mind an illustration of that very picky sleeping princess on a tower of mattresses. Thanks for pointing that out

I saw a documentary a while back on the secret lives of kitties. Oh how intriguing hehehe. Apparently if you have a doggy or kitty door, cats from the whole neighborhood can be in your home while you sleep. They’re not even bothered. Just eating the food of your own cat or dog. All relaxed.

We had a cat door at one time – when we were certain the dog would defend it from intruders. Then we moved where raccoons, skunks, squirrels and who knows what else also seemed to understand completely how those doors worked. Pets just had to learn to ask when they needed out. Wild kingdom better outside! Thanks for swinging by

LifeofBun just left me with such a frightening thought! I’ve always wanted to install a video cam and watch my dogs while I’m at work. Better than any Youtube video. I’m guessing, though, there’d be a lot of sleeping to watch except when the mail delivery dude shows up. Then it’s 4 minutes of crazy.

I’d be afraid to see what goes on when we aren’t here. There’s nothing like mail delivery for pet daily entertainment and exercise. Thanks for running along

RC looks like she’s being carried on a pillow, saying “Home, Jeeves.” Like one of those old-fashioned litters. A Kitty Litter.

RC would say you’ve got it exactly correct…if she was interested in responding to those lesser. Thanks for littering up the place!

Oh, the things you might see when no one is home! But I’m sure RC is too regal to engage in such shenanigans. Sure it was the Molly who moved the remote and watched questionable channels….

She does look like royalty. I’m glad she blessed us with her presence on this post.

I had to laugh at this line: “Perhaps RC Cat shouldn’t be left in charge.” Left in charge? Something tells me her rule is not a option 🙂

RC regally nods in appreciation. She is considering offering drama lessons in the realm – who better suited than a real drama queen? Thanks for pawsing to chat
