Paris. Standing proud.
People of Paris and France.
We stand with you against this act of pure cowardice.
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it–always.” (Mahatma Gandhi)

Thanks for this tribute. Many cities around the world have also lit up their buildings in red, white and blue to show their support for Paris. What a beautiful thing to do.

The glowing images are striking. Seattle’s bridge is beautiful and as a bridge, symbolic.

The Ghandi quote. Thank you. It’s difficult to not feel hopeless at times like this. But hate is not invincible.

Find footing and balance while absorbing what it all means. The world is different now – yet still the same. Sun still rises and warms. Trees still sway and bend in the wind. Strength and hope and good will endure just like the deep rooted oaks. Take heart. Appreciate your comment

As Shakespeare, and Ray Bradbury both wrote “Something wicked this way comes”. May be a good time for all to review “Animal Farm” and that Bradbury dark fantasy. At least you can close the book on those two and walk away. People? Another story all together. Thanks for adding your thoughts

Thank you for that wonderful Ghandi quote. It’s heartbreaking, the way we humans have not yet evolved beyond violence.

If wishes were horses. Difficult to deal with those who have an entirely different belief system – and refuse to accept any view but their own. Inch by inch progress is gained, but so much heartbreak along the way. Thanks for joining the songs for the people of Paris

No words, such sorrow and fear for mankind.

Three steps forward and two back. Back to the drawing board. There will always be problems if one cog of the human machine refuses to mesh with the others…and others fail to recognize that fact. The world is different now, yet still the same. Thanks for puzzling along
