It’s flat out discrimination. And why? Some angry Do-gooder must have tipped off PETA.

Outraged, the locals banded together, constantly harassed him, and continually vandalized the home he was building.

Forced to leave just because he wears fur. DUH. 

You may not like it, but it’s his thing. His cultural history.

So much for embracing diversity.

He was doing much the same thing as other subdivision developers.

It’s a scenic area – great for families with kids that want to play outside. Who doesn’t like water front property? He specializes in creating little ponds.

None of those other home builders had obstacles repeatedly thrown in their way to slow them down.

Actually he showed more environmental consciousness than many.

Carefully selecting trees to cut rather than bulldozing the whole forest.

In addition, he subscribed to the repurpose / reuse philosophy so downed trees were utilized as accent building materials in homes instead of a bull dozer shoving them into a pile and setting it on fire.

No one could accuse him of not being in touch with nature.

So why? Locals not wanting a new guy showing up cutting into their game, perhaps.

Or flat out, outdated, discrimination. 

Let’s not even get into who stole the lands from whom.

His people have history with this area…

Not wanting to live forever in his parents’ basement, he was brave enough to stick a toe life’s waters all on his own.

As fearless as one of his relatives, famous in his health related marketing career, who started with nothing more than a sparkling smile.

Knowing it’s wise to pick your battles and that sometimes better to just to move on to where you are welcomed, he finally caged to their demands and moved on.

Everyone says folks around Chino Valley are more hospitable.

And who doesn’t like the sound of cottonwoods?

 If they don’t want drop-in guests to linger, maybe they shouldn’t dump comfy couches in sunny spots. Snoozing there turned out to be his downfall.
