Dangers of leaving messages dangling.
Ah, decoding the mysteries that hang silently like sharks lurking just below the lovely sea viewed by the unsuspecting…
No doubt there will be a demand for an impartial investigation
Obviously passive aggressive:
Someone shall pay for that one.
Obsessed with detailing here? (Ignore the horsing around)
Then there’s one encouraging endless optimism: inspiring a positive stance
That always looking up no matter what – demonstrating, without shouting, to be happy where you hang out and to simply carry your heart and memories along wherever you end up.
Perky attitude adjustments hang best in smaller doses than endless barrage of updated holiday songs, right?
Holidays often brings out distant relatives like flies, but it’s tradition to have to put up with family.
That includes a message of tolerating the odd, eccentric ones who really aren’t angels.
You know how it goes.
Once people notice it’s not just decoration, the lights will come on.
There will be rants about the need for tree neutrality and openness to all ensuring free speech (as long as it meets guidelines and doesn’t annoy or irritate anyone.)
Still in the night bright, the trees outdoors may be getting organized to shine above all…
MIT has created living plants that glow like a lamp. Glowing trees could replace streetlights and reduce our dependence on electricity? (Story here.)
Hmmm, modified plants. If you won’t eat GMO foods, would you let you children climb into them or sit among them? (Cue “X Files”/”Twilight Zone” music)
Some marketing firm must have approached Mother Nature with this idea for tree improvement and updating. Don’t worry she’s been around long enough to know you can’t trust some people and some things aren’t as exactly as advertised. She has designs of her own.
Keeping up with the buzz.

I don’t think anyone can say a whole paragraph without offending someone! You sure have some…weird…or maybe unusual is a better word…ornaments.

I love your ornaments!!!!! I used a sausage shaped dog toy for my christmas tree this year… neither Easy nor Phenny played with this toy… but as soon as it was on my tree it was the must have of the year… and then… well I bet you can imagine what happened…

Meowwy Greetings of the Season from the Northern Missouri realm🎄 Our initial feelings were as yours concerning cats dressed as mere staff, but then thought of the appearance of whimsy and of fun, rather than of true life. Just as the shiny hard birds with the lovely tails are so pleasant to look at rather than true flutterbrained birds. So we do not take offense during this time. However, we have had to put our claws down when staff attempted to cover our beautifully fresh groomed coats with what they call “coats” – such things as seen on dogs, no less. We hope you do not suffer that indignity!
Wishes for many lovely mousies to you this Season, Your Highness! 😸😸

Your ornaments are lovely. Just the kind of ones that add a bit of pizzazz to a tree. Very nice.

That queen palm is gorgeous. I just learned today that in some very early versions of “The Cherry Tree Carol,” (early as in around 1500 or so) it was palm trees that bowed to Mary rather than the cherry tree. Palms always have seemed classy like that to me.
I love that lounge lizard, and I hope Bob does, too. I haven’t added many ornaments in the past years, but one of my favorites always has been a duck decked out in camo with a shotgun in his hand. Duck, hunting — and proving that turnabout’s fair play!

The ornaments are a treat to the eye, I’m envious.
I hope you have a very merry Christmas Phil and many more happy new years of posting.
Thanks for the pleasure you’ve given me, these past few months, since finding you. 🐱 😀
