Mismanaged. The last word: puppies!

It doesn’t look good. Can’t manage the words.

WordPress is cranky. Spellcheck’s sullenly correcting inappropriately. Google is all snippy.

Is The Final Word approaching?

After the Writer’s Strike and the witty ones walked off the job, cheap reality shows dominated the screens.

Now traditionally trained journalist and investigative reporters are being replaced by the citizen-on-the-scene’s amateur video efforts, snarky Twitter feeds, and news desk anchors reading comments and posts from social media.

“We don’t know what this is yet, but it may be something – and you saw it here first,” says the breathless anchor with over the top tone and expression.

Simply staring at nothing is a real option. Wordless entry enticing

What? Silence is golden? King’s ex. (USPD/Commons.wikimedia.org)

Is the wordless wasteland is causing a pox of social acting out?

Don’t be like Chuck. Words failed him.

Seeming overwrought and unhinged, does he believes he’s in some sort of reality show full of odd characters that he has to equal, no, top?

Understandably delusional after being deprived of intelligent, well written entertainment on TV or dignified, neutral, facts-only-so-you-make-up-your-own-mind-becasuse-we-won’t-lead-you-to-any-conclusions-here news.

All work and no say makes anyone a total wreck.

Including legislators. They hardly work work so hard. Words just get the best of them so often.

Even at the city level where words got away from this guy.

What’s left? Yet another new tv series of Law and Order: Major Crimes Against Words Unit?

Maybe a civil word can get in there edgewise.

Well, (a deep subject) Silence, my old friend,

Are you at a loss for words with this: “Congress just killed your internet privacy protections”?

So you won’t feel this has been a total waste of words, now a ploy used by major networks national news: an ultra cute, warm and fuzzy ending.

People just want to feel good! No worries!

Hope words don’t fail me. (I hate wordy remedials.)

Who let the vowels out? Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof.

When it comes to hysteria, I’ve nearly stopped listening to or watching any broadcast weather: radio or tv. This morning, it was doom on the doorstep, with HUGE storms bearing down and hitting at 9 a.m. Uh-huh. I decided to not go to work, and spend some time getting caught up here at home. It’s now 11.37 and we’re still waiting. I could have gotten two hours of work in. I know better. They were just so hysterical — with firm support from the NWS — that I decided to believe them, one more time. Cue Charlie Brown, the football, and Lucy.

I just have no words for Sen. Schumer’s behavior. The couple he was berating fled the restaurant, and then he followed them into the street. That’s not a Senator. That’s an out-of-control two year old throwing a tantrum. He clearly needs a time out.

Waiting. Waiting. Got up extremely early and dragged dog out of sound sleep for backyard visit before the deluge hit…at noon they had news anchors in cars driving around the freeways looking for a story…”Well, it’s dark and wet – please be careful if you’re out here.” Biggest feature is windshield wipers… back and forth. back and forth. Yep, Lucy worthy.
      (and speaking of childish…yep.)
      Thanks for the spoke words

How can we tell when a politician is lying? Oh yes, (s)he opened her/his mouth. Oh no, not lies, just alternate facts, right?

And it seems they justify it as they live in an alternative universe far beyond the comprehension of the serfs, I mean, voters. Most have learned to live with elected officials inflated senses of self worth and intelligence, but I draw the line at acting like a ill-mannered, rude 2 year old in public. No letting them have cake if stomping feet or foot in mouth. Word.
Thanks for driving your sled of words this way!

Old reruns of “I Love Lucy” are looking pretty good.

Thank goodness for days of good weather and unscripted escapes. Appreciate the warm fuzzy suggestion – it’s a good one!

Our storm last week dumped 13 inches. They were forecasting 30 and people were going nuts. More Lucy.

We just had a massive storm system go through. Water over the curb for a bit. Cargo container blown over by strong winds at a port not far from here. And of course Molly had to go out in just about the middle of it. HAD to – despite me running her down the block a few minutes before it hit….nothing like wet towels and wet dog…
Stay safe if system makes it your way.

“Who let the vowels out?” If I didn’t already have a blog I’d consider using that as its name. Made me laugh out loud when I read it.

Civility? What’s that? I think there was an executive order doing away with such things. Ah well, there are always kittens and puppies on the internet to turn to while Big Brother watches and sells our information. (I suspect they would find my internet browsing history rather dull.)

Oh, that must be the answer. It must have been issued under when everyone was blinded by the disco ball and too busy dancin’ then rappin’ to hear hear. (Take the puppies and kitties outdoors where they can enjoy sanity, too?) Thanks for tapping in to scan along.
