Garbage in. Garbage out.
Convenience. Compassion. Political statement.
Probably finally cracked.
Cabin fever. Some turn to snow diving and others to home projects.
Ideas swirled. Overflowed.
Hope Home Depot was open. You know how it is once you start a project. “Updating looked so easy on the DIY shows.” “While you’re at it, why not just do them all?” Wonder how the rest of the household feels about the take-outs now that it’s Monday and there’s work/school to be done.
Not sure how it all flushed out at this residence, but the HOA is bound to not consider these “ornamental lawn furniture.” Suppose you could argue Constructionist Style, but bad idea to flip your lid in their faces.
Will be interested in seeing what’s in the pipeline for this place.
Could be an extreme reaction to that age-old controversy “lid up – lid down – or else!”
As private investigators and dogs always say, you can tell a lot about a person by their garbage pile.
(Memo to extreme home crashers: Habitat for Humanity ReStores. “Good deal for you, your community, and the environment.” Trash to you; treasure for others.)
Always avoid the drips and poodles.

that’s true you can say a lot about a person this way… but I have no clue what to say about that pile… maybe sh*t happens?

Our neighborhood is the theater of life…front row seat? Just such an oddity, I couldn’t let if flow past without mention. Thanks for adding your astute observation

No eyesore such as those would be allowed on the hallowed streets of this subdivision! Around here the vigilant HOA leaders will call you stat if you so much as put a home painter’s sign in your front yard. Can’t imagine what would happen if those items turned up in a front yard. *tsk tsk*

Did it look like an art installation, perhaps? The only thing saving them was that the HOA seems to hibernate on weekends, and the garbage guys are really really great.(if it’s a one time only thing and you always tie up branches…they never forget who doesn’t bundle plant trash.)
Thanks for saluting the gamey thrones post.

They do look tidy and fairly clean on the outside and somehow demure, but i would not want to see them in my neighborhood for long. I even hate it when someone leaves their garbage cans out too long.

Such a hilarious lineup. They do look a bit demure school girls waiting. Their ride must have come pretty quickly. You have to wonder, were they sent off to boarding school? Thanks for adding to the comment container

I’m embarrassed to note that I have seen one or two of these used as garden features, mostly around elderly trailer parks in this neck of the country. When judiciously planted with geraniums for Memorial Day, they usually are still blooming for Labor Day!

I knew it had to be geraniums (and sometimes a little flag on July 4th!). The perfect matching containers for the white painted tires, too. Thanks for adding a flora scent.

All it needs is someone behind each seat wafting large palm leaf fans? Thanks for smirking along

Glutton for punishment – who enjoys all that cleaning? (Sigh. We dreamed of such luxury growing up fighting to get in first)
In all fairness that is one of the big houses of a large family – there are mixed sizes here which makes the “landscape” and people mix more interesting.
But seriously – remodeling 3 bathrooms (2 full and a half bath powder room?) at once? Brave soul – or everyone’s gone on vacation during the process. Thanks for checking the water level here
