Beautiful flashes at warp speed, no passive passengers these.

This older gentleman out for a stroll along Oyster Creek. Was he hoping his grin would beguile? He’s used to the wild life.
A mild-mannered dental assistant by day, but a feisty gator grabber when called, one gal thought the older guy would tire long before her. Athletic is her style. A quick wit is her charm.

It always happens. Those old guys fall for the pretty young things.
She said, “Let’s get out of here. I’ll give you a lift.”
Still smiling, he was quite content be carried off to a little resort she knew.
Not all parties end in smiles and miles.

This little after school brawl was quite a beaut. Middle school girls and some passing for adults are so into extreme drama.
One participant didn’t read the complete script. Decided to go full throttle.
Fists and hair pulling weren’t getting anywhere, so how about a four-wheel rundown?

It’s written down that “Beauty is as beauty does.”
But apparently she didn’t read that either.

If reading long passages, fables, and proverbs are becoming passé (Who has the time?), then striking high impact visuals could become the preferred vehicle of information delivery.
Might be better. We look better from afar?

I just imagine what the people would say when we would see such a guy on the street…. think that would be the end of the world as we know it :o) well, except in Paris, there they wouldn’t even notice that guy with being busy with their own business :o)

With sunny cool weather and wildly happy dogs, it’s difficult to complete a real thought, so tabloid it is.Always thought writing headlines and first paragraphs for them would be such fun. Really get you ready to write fiction!
(And I think I’ll be crippled forever if the rambunctious pooches don’t stop pushing off and landing on my big toe…which is now purple…just got another toe’s blackened nail from a past visit grown out. Steel toed boots for Christmas?)
Thanks for beautifying the comment pile. (Oh, Gator, who they said was around 50 yrs old has gone to a gator resort to live out his life in comfort…hope they have gator nurse – he had a few scrapes from the concrete…not as sore as the lady who got pitched off trying to tame him. Fair enough.)

A physics teacher could probably explain it…the big problem is the two start digging outside – like it’s not muddy enough and I rush out to intervene without stopping to kick off flipflops and put on defender shoes. Sigh.

Sort of a disjointed Monday. Sunny and cool. Happy dogs. Little chance of lengthy coherent thoughts, so life is so funny (HA HA or peculiar, I’ll leave to the reader.) Gators play in that wetlands area, but with all the rains causing waterways to spread, guess the gator decided to go see what all the noise is about around the shopping areas. That smile. He did look full of self importance and confidence, didn’t he? Apparently had the muscle to back hp his attitude, too. Thanks for wandering this way.

Somehow “Gator Found In Shopping Center” is a headline I didn’t expect to see this morning…or like ever. I know they like to troll about golf courses but it sounds like they are getting more confident in their ability to spend time away from home. Perhaps the economy is picking up…

Perhaps looking for early Christmas present bargains for the DIY of the family? Well, he won a free vacation…what will the others think? Will it motivate them to appear next hoping for the same? Shoppers better hope for some of that cold winter weather quickly so the swamp inclined will go back to napping. Thanks for risking the route here.

Sadly, we aren’t the only team with their shoes tied together or something. If the darn tickets didn’t cost so much – and the players paid so much….Clowney whined last week about how “the NFL season is so long. I have’t played so many games in a row in my life – and there’s more coming up.” “Duh, the job description is called Pro Player”.(One of our veteran players told him that)

I’d rather not see that alligator when I go to the mall (the latter which I rarely do.) And I think that maybe the distance you show is the best distance from which to view a large city. 🙂

Those “artistic” lights might be seen as false advertising or a bait and switch attempt by visiting space aliens when they realize things aren’t as they appear here? HA! A shopping gator would be the last straw probably.

My gosh — that gator video is quite something. No, that’s wrong. The gator is quite something! I hadn’t even heard about it, but nothing new about that. I did see a real, live gator myself on Sunday afternoon. When the sun came out, I couldn’t stand it, so I went down to the Brazoria Wildlife Refuge. There was a bridge out, and the mosquitos were terrible — hardly could get out of the car. But, the view platform and the boardwalk out to the gator pond seemed to be mosquito-free, and there he was. I was so entranced, I didn’t even take a photo. There will be another time.
Sorry to hear about the toe. I’ve got a new boo-boo myself. Do you know about asps, aka puss caterpillars? I’m an expert now, and believe me — those things are BAD. If you don’t know about them, read up. They’re truly toxic, and painful as can be. It’s true the thing looks like a fun, furry little cutie, but it’s not so. (Actually, they look kind of like Donald Trump’s hair. Really.)

Oh, my! An asp. My brother picked up one …once. It is not a lost bunny tail! You are right about the mosquitoes – the tiger ones are out and so it St. Louis Encephalistis in Pearland and Brazoria county. Those tiger mosquitoes do not wave off!
It sounds like every creature is crawling out if there’s sun. This ought to be a good time of the year to spot the big gators..preferably not in a parking lot.

Okay, I’m really happy the wildlife around here doesn’t include gators! But I suppose it could include the “coywolf” given what I’m seeing in my Facebook feed. And there’s always the possibility of a black bear coming down from the nearby mountain. But I’ll take those over gators any day. 🙂

You are right. He knows all the big box stores cluster together…he might have even been planning to stop by the jumbo pet store for a snack. He was strolling with a lot of confidence and sense of purpose. Thanks for smiling along

That gator was huge…. I thought it was a statue at first! I’m sure I’m not athletic enough (or young enough, haha) to coax him away to a safer place.

He did look like a bronzed statue that should have been in a park at a museum or zoo – then he moved. What a fine spokes gator for the species. Happy he’s not just tossed in with the younger more energetic gators with something to prove. Here he’s free but sheltered. Hope he finds a sunny spot and many more years. (Whew – that little blond. She was more confident that the cop trying to weigh him down. She was even laughing as the gator tossed her. Good there are some brave gator protectors out there.) Thanks for the splashy comment

I like the novelty of seeing monkeys in the high street although the Ape Harassment Officers seemed to have put a stop to that, whinging Gibbos, but seeing a gator walk down the street would be amazing. Especially here 😀

Ape Harassement Officers. Exactly how do they encourage the monkeys to leave? Noticed you hadn’t pictures of them around the house recently. Snowy might have needed reinforcements.Some animal rights group would protest any animal harassment here.
A gator on Gib would be quite a sight. Swishing and swaying down narrow cobblestone streets. Would make a great short film. Spain has the cane and mud areas, but no fresh water gators, right?
(Still thinking how funny the gator film would be…the monkeys could have bit parts. HA HA)
