Scribbles. The art of practice.

shadows from ornate(NO permissions granted) bridge railing. ALL Rights Reserved. Copyrighted

Lines from here to there. Only a starting point. ©

Like a child with a new box of crayons, Sun was practicing her cursive on the sidewalk.

Each morning, the same. Practice makes perfect.

Mother watched thinking, “Art will be her favorite class. And I’ll need a bigger refrigerator.”

Maybe that’s why the sky is so wide and the seas seemingly endless. For reflection.

Mothers will do anything for their kids.

Lined up and ready for shine,

Phil, the Philosopher Mouse of the Hedge.

the sun is a great artist … much better than my momma who quitted that cursive practice and went home (the eyes of the teacher were priceless and the letter she wrote to her pawrents too)

So true Phil – shadows are sometimes so complex that unless you actually see the solid objects you would never guess.

    Excellent pictures Phil.

I’m getting to like black and white photography more and more. Intriguing images that colors hide. Thanks for scribbling a comment

I love working with light and the camera. Mr. Sun is such a great teacher, giving new perspective every second.. Oooh, and I absolutely love the old (and new) wrought iron scroll work.

It’s as if nature/universe knows people constantly need a new view – there’s a new look to the sky and all around every day. We are such lucky pets. (That’s a bridge railing leading to a old empty development. Shortly building may start and the solitude and natural design will be gone. Had become quite the spot to watch sunsets around here.) THanks for framing a picture perfect comment

You can see the sun starting to have fun with the timing and throwing of shadows about as the season starts to change. Those shadows are definitely on the move. Days are getting shorter. Much work to be done!

The early darkness caught us by surprise yesterday. Football game had stalled the dog walk. Not that Molly cares about it being dark, but you can see what you are about to step in in the grass! (Astonishing ending to the Cowboy game!) Thanks for stumbling around in the shadows here

That looks like I can walk a bridge, without climbing it 🙂 Thank you so much for your encouragement on our moving bloggie. Granny and I appreciated it very much 🙂 Extra Pawkisses 🙂 ❤

The shadows are playing with us. Hope you’ve rested up. Moving is so stressful. A nice sun soak often helps. Paw waves from RC Cat to salute your new realm. (We’ll pad over shortly) Thanks for curling up here by designs.

And she’s so creative about leaving memos and messages – like moms do with lunch boxes. Thanks for scribbling out a comment

How creative is this? I’ve never heard anyone speak for Mother Sun before. Great perspective. Beautiful lacey photos.

Sun’s big enough to speak for herself, but people are so busy…and little…and standing in her shadows. Appreciate the kind words. Thanks for shining up a comment to leave

Cool fronts bring clear the atmosphere and everything looks sharper and the sun angle makes things more golden. Thanks for curling a cursive comment

Art to hang on a fridge… a wall… or just come back each day to see it anew. An installation 🙂

Sometimes I wish I was more skilled at photography. Molly does want everyone to know she participated by standing still and not pulling the leash. Thanks for gazing along

Great job of coloring outside the lines and creating wonderful images. I hear coloring books for adults are the latest trend. Not sure how I feel about that. Your post is far more creative!!

When adults revert back to staying in the lines, the world must have become a very intimidating space. A bit more time dancing outdoors might be worth a try. Thanks for sliding through the shadows to chat

It was simply too beautiful to walk by without celebrating. (Although s seagull flew over and scolded “It’s just practice. She does that every morning!) So featherhead? Best to appreciate and not take stuff for granted. Thanks for scripting a lovely comment
