Light just right

She was never going to tell.

Cloaked in a rainbow. Touched by a greatness that makes up for all the accommodations one must make for lesser species, RC Cat welcomes the morning.©

Each morning – in that hush – when time seems to hang motionless – She moves into position.

And waits.

When the star and planet align, it happens.

Gazing unblinking, She sends a message to all her being: This is Olde Wisdom. Soak it in.

The color of life.

The warmth of existence.

All that is needed to sustain us.

And if the stupid staff would quit with the restless feet, the peace of morning meditation would be complete.

Observing still life,

that’s true…. all the wisdom and to listen to the silence will disappear when that staff runs around… have you discovered the secret of the rainbow?

Restlessness seems to be the source of human problems. And they keep running to look for rainbow’s end. The elevated species do what they can to make them paws. Thanks for curling up over here with a comment. Paw waves!

I think that she is thinking how she can get that human to stop moving around and enjoy the moment!

Excellent photography Phil. You do realize what you have captured here don’t you? That cats have mastered Faster the Light (FTL) interstellar travel. Absolutely – this is one of the most carefully kept secrets. In fact you can see a video of the use of this power at Nyan Cat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH2-TGUlwu4 . This is the short version – the long version is 10 hours long and there are various other versions as well. All of them show cats traversing between the stars leaving a rainbow behind them. Now, of course, there has to be some way for cats to charge up in order to use this power. You have caught the charging in process – RC cat absorbing a rainbow for later use as thrust in travelling to the stars. Now you may dismiss this as poppycock but check out the views. It seems that evey cat in America has watched this video as it has 116 million views and the 10 hr version (extragalactic travel is much longer)has 35 million views.

Excellent post Phil and excellent investigative photography. What you have uncovered will surely change the path of the human race.

Now if the electric car companies can mimic that charging process…but it’s bound to be elusive knowledge for more developed species….
Great links…RC Cat is mumbling something about “…not meant for human eyes…there will be repercussions…”
Don’t worry – I won’t tell them you know. Thanks for adding a shining comment.

Sometimes, all that’s really required is an, “Ohhhhh…. pretty.” And it is. Of course, the best news is that rainbows mean the sun is around, somewhere. Here’s to our three days of it before the gloomies descend again!

Oddity- the sun has be just at the right angle to hit the beveled glass…and there has to be sun. Looks like I missed the memo on weekend bush and tree trimming. Usually do that SuperBowl week. Gloomy is right – one weather model has the coldest weather of the year coming in next week. Hope that moderates as the Molly will be having a sleep over with the German – and the back yard is already a mud hole…and towels constantly being washed.
Meanwhile, better enjoy this weather while it lasts. Thanks for beaming a comment over

Wonderful photos, phil. Sir Isaac Newton would have been thrilled to see the prism’s rainbows so gorgeously deployed. By the way, I just read down the list of “RECENT POSTS” on the right-had side of the page…and thought I was reading a poem. Try it! It’s distinctly phil and very evocative!

The sun and earth have to be just right for the beveled glass to throw rainbows down the hall. Growing up we had a Victorian cut glass lamp with hanging prisms that was placed where it would catch light. Best decorating idea ever.
How intriguing about your discovery. Titles have always been important…that unintended sequence? Subconscious quietly constructing? Now that’s a thought. Thanks for pointing that out. Always enjoy your visits

Charming. Nothing better than early morning stillness to focus a person… or a Queen such as RC Cat. Considering all that she puts up with each day, I’m sure that she needs her rainbow-prism time to stay centered. 😉

HRH was a tad annoyed to be discovered. Had to stretch for the phone/camera without any motion to alert her. She is so touchy about personal photos without permission. She allowed a couple but immediately demanded breakfast – and a fresh mousie – as staff was awake and doing foolish things.
      Thanks for appreciating the still.

RC is the perfect beneficiary of the power of the rainbow light, and repository for later transmission at her discerning discretion:)

Great photos! Stillness is good for us, but around here, the cats have mastered it while I’m still a novice 🙂

Yes, we humans tend to forget the magic and wisdom to be found when being stationary. We have much to learn from RC Cat!

It was early. She was perfectly still…and it was so hard to reach the phone, move the covers without disturbing. Barely managed to snap it. She does hate unscheduled photo sessions so. Thanks for exploring the wonder.
