Wonders never crease.

“As soon as I saw you, I knew a grand adventure was about to happen (A.A. Milne) A impromptu Easter chorus of Lantana blooms. (© image)

“One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries.”

(A.A. Milne)

“I’m not lost for I know where I am. But however, where I am may be lost.”

(Sounds like Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland, but still Milne/Winnie the Pooh)

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

(What do you think? Mark Twain’s Huck Finn? Hands down. Another Milne/ Winnie the Pooh)

“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.”

(Obviously a reflective thinker, a Transcendentalist? Perhaps Thoreau at Walden Pond? Wait! The Dalai Lama! Nope, Milne/Pooh)

“Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?”

(Now this one is so Cheshire Cat and Lewis Carrol. But you know who again.)

Maybe forgetting to start again would be beautiful and most wondrous?

Folding some thought into that.

“You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.” From Winnie the Pooh, who many called “a bear of little brain”…but you have to wonder about that. (Louisiana iris. © image)

Pooh Bear was a wise bear in my opinion. Love all the quotes. Lantana remind me of my childhood as they were always easy to grow in dry South Texas seemingly all on their own. Lovely flower photos!

Winnie the Pooh has always been one of my heroes. A “bear of little brain”? Me thinks not.
