It’s printable: stellar transportation available

First immigrants won’t be able to run down to Home Depot or call Uber for a lift home.

With a limited  work force and resources, it’s a darn good idea to have some smart automation and lightweight, compact 3D printers big enough to goo you up anything you need – especially a ride home if needed..

Relativity Space, focused on Mars, already has just what you need:

Not just a pretty face or a company’s dramatic artist rendering, Stargate actually works!

And you thought Facebook was Earth shaking.

Buckle up for a giant leap for mankind the next few years.

That probably gets your imagination soaring.

You can’t imaging how much you can make one police dog soar: the K9s of Valor Foundations’ Top K9 of the Year Award is still up in the air, too.

Help launch HPD’s T-Rex by voting for him.

Post with his credentials and his story here.(Grab a tissue)

Then click over and vote once a day until Feb 4th here.

Dogs, Mars, and robots – can’t print up more excitement than that.

Hope your weather clears and your weekend’s got space for some fun in the sun.

I wish I could travel through the universe… to a place without icy rain and better temperatures ;O)

If wishes were horses, we’d saddle up and head to some sunny (not too hot) dry fields to run in…and you could come too. Ankle deep water in half the yard this morning, but at least it’s above 50 (F). Mars is looking better and better. Thanks for launching a comment this way

You know we actually look into that a few years ago – the immigration requirements are tough there (smart). We’re too old, not a a critical need professional, plan on opening a new business that will employ people there ( and having deep pockets enough to keep it afloat a certain period of time) or have a ton of money (which subs for the previous requirement)
It’s a beautiful place…we’ve tried to encourage daughter to consider it….then we could easily visit!
So don’t soak up all the fabulousness of the place, we may make it there yet HAHA

I suppose political asylum isn’t available either?

Apparently it’s being discussed for women/families of South Africa as they are at such great risk of violence against them. I’m manage here if Aussies will help there – someone needs to.
How far out can we anchor a sailboat? Guess we’d need visa/approval to row in for supplies HAHA

A 3D-printed launcher? That’s far out, man. And totally fascinating. There’s a future a’coming that I cannot even begin to imagine. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw that CEO on a serious business channel. It’s for real. Totally bonkers: the rocket is printed in 6 parts. Printers that big could be a real game changers…maybe…people might go for a 3D printed hours, medical body parts, but a giant rocket? Can we start with personal Jetson vehicles first? Thanks for flying a comment over here

Met a guy out on the PCT this summer who had used his 3-d printer to create a coffee maker he was carrying with him. Who need rockets? 🙂 –Curt

      That is so cool!
Things are really ready to take off. Remember when so few had access to computers?
There are several construction/artists places here that offer 3D printers for individuals to rent for a time period for projects – some libraries do also.
Can’t wait to see what flies next. (If Hawkins was right, we may need too..carrying plant seed banks and an ark load of animals or DNA?)
      Thanks for adding that tale
