With a limited work force and resources, it’s a darn good idea to have some smart automation and lightweight, compact 3D printers big enough to goo you up anything you need – especially a ride home if needed..

If wishes were horses, we’d saddle up and head to some sunny (not too hot) dry fields to run in…and you could come too. Ankle deep water in half the yard this morning, but at least it’s above 50 (F). Mars is looking better and better. Thanks for launching a comment this way

You know we actually look into that a few years ago – the immigration requirements are tough there (smart). We’re too old, not a a critical need professional, plan on opening a new business that will employ people there ( and having deep pockets enough to keep it afloat a certain period of time) or have a ton of money (which subs for the previous requirement)
It’s a beautiful place…we’ve tried to encourage daughter to consider it….then we could easily visit!
So don’t soak up all the fabulousness of the place, we may make it there yet HAHA

Apparently it’s being discussed for women/families of South Africa as they are at such great risk of violence against them. I’m manage here if Aussies will help there – someone needs to.
How far out can we anchor a sailboat? Guess we’d need visa/approval to row in for supplies HAHA

I saw that CEO on a serious business channel. It’s for real. Totally bonkers: the rocket is printed in 6 parts. Printers that big could be a real game changers…maybe…people might go for a 3D printed hours, medical body parts, but a giant rocket? Can we start with personal Jetson vehicles first? Met a guy out on the PCT this summer who had used his 3-d printer to create a coffee maker he was carrying with him. Who need rockets? 🙂 –Curt

That is so cool!
Things are really ready to take off. Remember when so few had access to computers?
There are several construction/artists places here that offer 3D printers for individuals to rent for a time period for projects – some libraries do also.
Can’t wait to see what flies next. (If Hawkins was right, we may need too..carrying plant seed banks and an ark load of animals or DNA?)
