Rats, but I don’t reblog.

Of advanced degrees (“wait til things pick up…”),  age discrimination (“56 in cat years”), and “accidents causing loss of limbs”

Quite chasing your tale and saunter over to “Summer Jobs for Cats”.

More delicious than stepping on a fresh hairball early in the morning.

Jobs for cats? really? cats are gods, they can spend a lazy summer :O)

Summer is the time for cat’s-a-tonics which RC says is some sort of fancy party drink. She muttered something about similar effects as mouses….
Molly Malamute (who has taken a job as summer exercise manager) says something’s made it a great time of year to sneak up and surprise a cat by standing on her tail….and the aerobic race is on!
Thanks for chortling along and burying a comment over here

Schooner is not getting on the “jobs for cats” bandwagon anytime soon!

RC sniffed “The very idea! I have enough to do around here keeping staff in line.” and stomped off. No sense of humor for the regent.
Paw waves and thanks for hissing along

Lucy has been in training, watching videos, to groom other dogs. She hasn’t figured out yet that she will need an opposable thumb.

The smart canine learn lack of opposable thumbs can be overcome by mouth. So adaptable and clever. Cheers for Lucy’s ambition. Thanks for trimming up a comment to leave

Riley has learned this, which leaves the gate hanging open. Even learned to remove the cotter pin I used to secure it. Had to go to a higher tech cotter pin.

Ditto – but the rest of Staff are cat magnets…There’s a sound at the door: pitiful, in the middle of terrible storms with no other option, sigh, they slide in…RC Cat was actually held in little hands with weeping with “if you take her to the shelter, she’ll be the first they kill. It’s the ugliest cat ever seen.” (A little food and care works miracles..and yes we ended up with the abused school guinnea pig, a Rex rabbit that turned out to be giant species instead of miniature as advertised, a carnival gold fish that kept growing and growing and finally had to be adopted by the arboretum, a little girl’s bunny who escaped and somehow found shelter in our garage with the blind outdoor cat – her dad was thrilled to see the “found”sign as he was making one last attempt through the neighborhood before they followed the moving van out of town…the list over the years is endless…we shall not talk about the baby skunks and the humane (paid for) relocation of wild things in time of drought who only desperately wanted water and shade…
      Dogs. Sensible.
      Thanks for passing to chat
