They, the future. Piling on.
Whiners from sleep deprivation. Smelly mess.
After this, no one can admonish them with “What have you done to earn your keep?”
They avoid meeting eyes, knowing they are full of it.
No, baby, everyone’s not a winner. That was a lie.
Truth, though is that every single one has something they are good at. So go with that.
Take those plastic disposable diapers and go.
(Parents everywhere would be ecstatic if you only would…)

Take those toxic landfill killers and build, Baby, build!
Why use steel or precious lumber for framing and structure when unwanted diaper lumps could be placed like Legos then covered with concrete.
Like they do with Superfund toxic waste dump sites. (Instant parking lot or highway! People have such short memories…)
A straw pole thinks recycled diapers could become the new adobe perfect big outdoor walls.
Problem solved by creative thinking.

I have been sitting here, not knowing what to say. I think I’m stymied that just a few minutes ago an Australian blogger friend vehemently jumped my ass for being a stupid American. 😦 I’ve never seen this side of her. Isn’t it odd how something so unexpected and hurtful can screw up a person’s day? So I’ll just move on to my favorite line, “Truth, though is that every single one has something they are good at. So go with that.” It’s the hope I have in any situation – there is always something good in it. Always. 🙂

It was really thoughtful of the Weather Channel to offer hours of alternative viewing yesterday of waterfalls, lakes, floating leaves, mountains and wildlife. Rather restful and centering for those who can’t get to the woods for real.
Gazing at lovely environments made me wonder what could be done with all the used disoposable diapers – you see those dumped by rude people in parking lots sometime. Good to reycycle – and those darn solid lumps look an awful lot like adobe brick. Maybe I should start a Go Fund Me page to sponsor my travels so I could spread the word of cheap recycled building materials? Sounds environmentally friendly…or worth a giggle or two (What is the great Wall of China made of? Just curious. They were creative thinkers, too)
Isn’t it odd how a person who doesn’t live in the situation and doesn’t live face to face with the actual reality 24-7 (so the individual couldn’t possibly fully understands all that is implied and how it is all related including traditions and history…not to mention know which is fact and which is a warped/distorted view) – how do they manage to feel they are superior and expert enough to citicize and advise the ones actually live there? How amazing there are those who can see the complete picture from so far away. I try not to barge in like that. Too easy to reveal arrogance and ignorance. Sort of that “don’t throw stones if your own house is made of glass.” But people like that rarely see themselves as they are. Pity for them. Shrug.
Time spent better making your own neighborhood, community, and region better – there’s so much to be done locally. If everyone just did that, sooner or later all those circles of caring would eventually bump into each other…and the world would be a better place. More productive than wagging fingers at people far far away trying to run other’s lives…oh, maybe everything is hunky dory in their lands…but about all those immigrants Australia gives sanctuary to, but won’t let them on the mainland – only lets them stay on one island…oh, it’s their game – not mine, so not my business. Whatever.Live and let live. I think that’s called tolerance…
Good works. Laughter and smiles heal. The sun came up today and will tomorrow. And the deer will need brambles. Everyone has something they excel at – being a guardian of the land and its’ inhabitants is better than running a government. You, the lucky one! Thanks for building a comment

Easy, of course “good” and skill is in the eye of the beholder, but each has something they do better than most…it’s just that observers sometimes have their own expections in their context instead of seeing what is happening with the person.
Like with Molly who is very skilled at being invisible when digging holes while laying down on her tummy – looking like she’s just enjoying the day when actualy she is nonchalantly digging a hole with her nose. Now that’s totally intelligent and amazing to her – while to me that NO NO No digging NOT GOOD.
