Simple, Bob, really.©

Yes, Bob, you’re right. It’s black and white.

Simple.

All that has to happen is for the locals to decide to agree.

No biting.

Eat your own food.

Don’t steal.

Be happy with where you end up.

Don’t hog the sunny spot.

Dance with the ones that brought you and take care of the ones who, in return, take care of you.

Single habitat, multiple users.

Simple.

Sticking points?

Bugs. Never a bit part of my diet. Just the thrill of the hunt. Difficult to give that up. Occasional pounces allowed? Glad to share the catch. Agreed.

The water bowl. Plenty of room. What? Yes, will speak to the cat about knocking the litter off her paws before perching on the edge to take a sip. Done.

What? Include the cat?

Bob. First rule of negotiating: NEVER negotiate with a cat.

Even William Shatner won’t attempt that.

Paw shake?

Done deal.

Simple.

Cat containment strategies? I’m listening. Continue, please.

Oh wow, I think my heart just stopped. Is that creature actually in your house? I think if I come visit, I’ll take my tea outside, if you don’t mind. 😉

rumblings in the realm? Conspiring against the monarch? Hmm, is Bob real, hard to tell from his photos. Molly! What trouble are you brewing??

RC doesn’t trust the lizard. He’s wooden, but worries about her scratches. Mutual skepticism. Molly is always amused – unless she’s in suspended animation during all the rain. (still. raining. Is that an ark being built? giggles) Thanks for joining the conversation. Enjoy the weekend!

That is either the best photoshop I’ve ever seen or you have one humongous lizard in your living room. yikes! I though Bob was fictional. He’ll eat the cat.

Photoshop is a skill unknown in the Realm. RC Cat knows he moves when no one’s looking. Bob wooden confirm. RC simply warns “Scratch that.” Mutual skepticism among those two. Thanks for creeping in to join the conversation. (and it’s still raining)

You’d think shaking the litter off your paws before doing ANYTHING else would be negotiable, but alas, that’s not how cats are. Even for Bob!

That has been mentioned to RC Cat, but she simply sniffs and says she cannot help it if entire world is attracted to her magnetic personality. There are always hanger-oners.Such is the life of the admired.
We have suggested perhaps a pedicure might trim a little of that fluffy footing, but she was outraged and said then she’d be actually touching the floor…and there’s odd things on the floor staff has overlooked, perhaps litter. The whole idea was shelved as absurd.
So yes. Cats. Paw waves for chatting along

I’ve grown rather fond of Bob. I do wonder now about that song, “When the Red, Red Robin Comes Bob-Bob-Bobbin’ Along.” Could Bob have been inspiring song-writers and others long before he came to live with you? Getting into conversations with birds? Anything’s possible in this world!

He did spend a bit of time in that shop on the Kemah Boardwalk area that had the giant bird aviary. He may have connections/history we hadn’t thought of. He was glad to settle in here when they move. Life in a box isn’t as much fun as the Realm. Bob sends a nod in thanks

I could use a Bob to chew the fat with sometimes, the strong silent type but let’s you know what he’s thinking… doesn’t eat much and knows his place.

More people should be like Bob…although his versions of “Open mouth and inset foot” has a little different bite with it. Thanks for leaving a comment to chomp on

Bob is right. Negotiations with cats never go the way you want, so might as well forget about it. They can be tricked into things, but it has to be done so subtly that the cat thinks it is her idea. (Shhh! Don’t tell the cats!)
Love the first image, and the conversation. 🙂

Bob and Molly are quite amused by RC Cat right now who is staring and trying to will her special pot of grass back to life – such little sun the plant just laid down and died. “Keep her busy and out of trouble,” says Bob.
(Molly is a tad worried Bob will ask to share a toy…she’s piled them all on the couch and is nervously sitting over them…will have to post that picture sometime.)
A grand wave from all in the Realm. Hope your weekend is going well. Thanks for stopping by

Molly says, “Personal space.” (and has piled all her toys on the couch worrying Bob will ask to share…) Wooden’t worry too much, Molly. Bob’s something of a stick in the mud. (RC send a regal paw wave to your realm!)

I didn’t know Bob was so large! I wonder if he might like to come visit our little ranch for a few weeks. I think he could be very useful here! Ha ha! We keep the rules pretty simple here too.

Reassuring that Bob is wooden. Did you see where a zoo keeper was recently bitten by a Komodo Dragon? Yikes! Luckily, he should be okay.

A nasty biting incident, yet that dragon’s picture looked so innocent. Bob says there are good and bad in every species…and suggests that dragon should practice recognition of “dinner” and “not dinner”. Thanks for the chatty comment!

Music, this is music! “The Ballad of Molly and Bob?” Sorry that Molly gets first billing there, Bob, but it’s the rhythm of the thing – and I know you respect the beat.

I’m going to leave and let Pickles have her say, Bob. She still has quite a crush on you.

    Bob! BOB!! BOB!!!!!!!!

I’m Pickles! I’m 2 now, all grown up. Do you remember me, Bob? Bob, I missed you. I really really really really really did. I’m still not allowed to use the keyboard without stupor-vision and my stupid-visor said that the inner-net wasn’t connecting for a long time so I couldn’t seeeeeeeee you.

I’m still beautiful, Bob. You’re beautiful, too. My sister Mila isn’t my real sister but she tells everybody that she is. She still tells everybody that she’s a Princess but I’m the princess. One princess at a time. That’s the rule. I’ll be the Princess, Bob, and you can be the Prince. We can catch bugs together and make faces at Mila.

Molly’s pretty. I think she’s smart, too. You’re smart, Bob. Keep all those bugs for yourself. You catch’em you eat’em. That’s the rule.

I’m getting sleepy, Bob. Can I come back again?
