What am I missing here? Are you promoting Susie’s blog here? Or do you mean that she’s written 100 posts on her blog and we’re celebrating that fact? I’ve never reblogged anything so maybe that’s what this is all about? I’m confused. Please help me. I want to understand.

Susie’s blog is crowded – she hosts “parties” where you can link one of your favorite posts and everyone hops around and reads. She writes funny stuff, too
But today, Susie’s fighting cancer. Having surgery today. (details in one of her blog posts). One of her readers sent emails around asking everyone to write a post encouraging her to stay strong in her fight. I created one with re-blog potential to make it easier since people are so busy.
Susie’s a mom and a writer. (and both our kids went to CU there in Boulder) I know the area/life although we’ve never met.
If the universe is listening, she’s a fighter, but any encouragement/positive energy/prayer appreciated.
So that’s the tale here. (I really should explain things better) Thanks for the poke and pondering along

Okay, now I get it. I’m was not aware of her– or how she runs her blog– or her current situation. That being said, I’m glad that you did this post for her and I wish her the best [of course]. Thanks for taking the time to explain this to me.

another blogger actually sent an email asking people to join the parade. Sometimes it’s nice to have company. The world’s so big easy for people to feel lost. Thanks for cheering along

Great post. I enjoy popping over to Susie’s blog from time to time. I wasn’t aware of the surgery today though. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

Thanks for sharing. I love her humor on the problem, but having gone through the scare myself several years ago, I can certainly sympathize (mine were benign).

So not a fun thing for her to do…and it interrupts progress on her book. Thanks for cheering her on.

Susie/her husband posted good news. Like one of her commenters said, she probably snuck an iPad into the OR.
Funny thing how the internet has such an impact and creates tribes of a sort. Glad you stopped by to stargaze.

I popped over… Susie’s spirit and humour is amazing. Being female and therefore having inherent risk I can’t not be impressed by Susie sharing her experience, and how. Thanks for the shout out. I’ll add my thoughts to the collective.

Suzie a really hoot. Her sense of humor and spirit will help get her through this – although it’s a struggle even if it all goes well. My sister in law was so frustrated trying to figure out how to get a saddle up on her horse for a bit.
Susie’s husband is posting on her blog, but they are probably ripping the iPad out of her hands and telling her to rest.
She’s got family and friends and blogs to entertain her for a bit – and she’s got to finish that book!
Thanks for cheering along. It does make a difference

Should we re-blog from your blog, or do so from her blog?

Probably re-blog from her’s as her husband is trying to update with current info and news (So far so good. YEA).
They are probably having to pry the iPad out of her hands. Thanks for cheering Susie on. Positive energy helps!

I’m glad you explained the situation in a comment, as I was confused by this, too. I hope she wins her fight. Cancer is a tough opponent, but it sounds like she might be as well.

I should really remember to explain more. Susie’s blog is really funny. So far the news is good, but won’t be surprised if she’s quiet for a bit. The recovery process from surgery is tough even under the best circumstances. Thanks for wishing her the best

This is so cool Phil! When I first read this, I cried. What a beautiful post!!!!
Thank you so much. You are right. I did feel the positive energy blast from the blogosphere and everywhere else!
I believe my prognosis is so amazing because of you and others that posted! I was told after the biopsies that I may have to face chemo since my results were in a gray area around the 26th percentile for recurrence. But after all of this and the surgery, the results from Mayo put me in the 13th percentile! That’s what I call a miracle my friend!
I will print this out along with the others and compile them in a binder.
I am so blessed to have friends like you!

So glad you stopped by and are feeling wilder. Good happen and you are proof. My sister-in-law avoided chemo, too and is back riding the range – you will be, too!(It’s a stressful road, but hang in there. It gets better day by day – and the mountains are waiting to inspire you) Flattered by your comments – a binder is a cool idea.
Thanks for swinging on a star. Go Susie!

RC Cat said something about “toes in the sun – it always helps.” Whatever that means- she was quite insistent…just before stretching out in the sunny spot. We try to keep her subdued, but, well, you know RC Cat…thinks we should follow her. Hasta later
