Paws please: awarding attention.

Staff once again has been negligent.

Such a mess. An embarrassment.

We recall there was some discussion of updating wallpaper, although selections were not brought to Our attention.

So We shall try to work through with Our own capable paws.

Obviously these samples are waiting to be awarded with Our attention.

You may follow along as We proceed.

Perhaps acquiring some of Our good taste along the way, no?

Wallpaper selection is critical for the creation of proper mood and tone in an environment.

Yes, Lucky One, We shall proceed with diligence and purpose.

What is this?

Is this piece for a child’s room? A school room?

Perhaps destined for the game room?

Oh, We understand.

They shall customize the design to suit our alphabet phrase wishes!

A is for the awesomeness of kitties,

B is for their beauty beyond your reach,

C is for the crunchies that We leave on pillows and…

What? It starts over with another “A”?

Oh, children do need repetition, but what is this “W” doing there instead of the proper letter “D”?

Inconsistency is confusing for young.

And yet another “A”?

Obviously this is a defective print job.

Will request another sample with correct alphabetic sequencing.

Oh?

The second line is intended to be the word “award” – not part of a letter sequence?

And what would be the purpose of that?

Oh.

Our staff must have requested “award” wording to designate items deemed worthy of Our attention.

Yes. Yes.

The designers are undoubtedly thrilled with Our Award of Acceptance.

Just like her Majesty Queen of England bestows her approval on merchants in London.

Staff was quite correct in allowing these designers to mention that award designation on their trade labels.

This lettering is elegant, yet We feel this one seems formidable – possibly dark.

It is appropriate for mousies’ coats, but rather formal for children or game rooms.

Sigh.

Perhaps that was the intent: to provide entertainment as game in the room would be camouflaged by the wallpaper?

Adding interest to the chase? Possibly.

Quite fidgeting and present the next sample.

(from emmameade.com)

Now this would be lovely in velvet brocade.

What an odd name for a wallpaper sample: “KB reativ logger”?

People name their children anything these days.

How this one must have suffered in school!

Oh, it must be the artists’ name. Free spirits tend to take liberties with spellings.

Do you think they became an artist because of the odd name?

Oh, well We shall request a meeting with this KB craftsman. Such elegant design!

Now what is this?

One for the gym?

Inspirational for team?

Yes, yes! We wish our Cat Olympics team to stretch towards the gold!

Excellent!

(from backwards222.com)

Next. We said NEXT!

Please pay attention.

(from Writingfeemail)

Now this design is so romantic.

Simple. Striking.

(And you shall discover the meaning of striking if you do not pay attention. Quit slumping.)

So calming. Cozy.

Yes, this pattern is perfect for the Mousies’ Room of Display.

Yes, We (heart) mousies and this shall remind them of Our affection.

It shall look better without the sample title lettering, of course.

Quite lovely.

Hrumph. Must We constantly poke you?

We are waiting for the next to view.

Now this one is rather antique looking.

Maybe the perfect selection for the staff room?

We wish them to remember appropriate protocol.

This one has the definite look of “Upstairs. Downstairs”

Versatile Blogger Award (2012)

We do hope there are some lighthearted choices.

Shuffle through those and find a cheery one.

Yes. That one next.

(from kourtney heinz)

Now this is perfect.  Just perfect for Our sunny room.

So beautiful that birds and bees shall unwittingly be drawn to it.

Enticed into reach…

No, We are not drooling.

We are just amused.

How thoughtful, this one.

So clever to demonstrate of how appreciative they are of Our consideration by including that in the pattern’s title.

Must be a bright one there.

Yes, approved.

There. Hand over that sunny one.

Oh, as gloriously beaming  as Our Royal Self!

(from EllaDeewords.wordpress.com)

Now this would be good to prepare people for admittance into Our sunny room.

Yes. Visitors’ little eyes could adapt to this and then Our glowing presence would not be so overwhelming.

Odd. Are all these from the same company?

Did we award only the Blogger Company an opportunity present their wares?

Oh, my staff has been negligent in informing me of their screening process.

But We must admit, this Blogger Company does produce quality.

(From jmmcdowell.com)

Pass that classic black and white one over.

Pure elegance.

Someone understands Our regal expectations.

Genuinely stylish.

Perhaps for Our dining area?

Well dressed and well-appointed.

Such a mannerly design shall promote elevate conversations of important topics, such as the debate whether mousies are better with or without whiskers.

Yes. Classic with just a touch of whimsy.

Shuffle those a bit.

We require something special for the correspondence room.

(myoxisamoron.wordpress.com)

Something inspiring.

There. Look at that lovely calligraphy.

Our staff should soar to greatness with this decorating the office.

Odd choice of motivational saying, though.

Tagged?

Shouldn’t merchants remove all tags?

Except those on pillows and bedding…which are comforting to chew on occasionally

Oh. yes.

Now, We understand!

Purrfect.

Of course We wear tags!

It is required.

How observant of this designer is to call attention to Our abidance of the Realm’s laws.

May Our subjects follow Our example.

Excellent submission

How could you be growing weary?

Now maybe you may appreciate the heavy duties carries by the RC Cat.

Only a few more, now.

We so love this design: simple as life should be.

Perfect for Our private nook where We shelter from thunderstorms and occasional doggy noses.

Yes, gazing at this one would encourage Us to plan for bright blue sky futures.

Putting Us in the mood to forgive intruders or plan retaliations – whichever seems the most appropriate.

Usually the latter.

And the petals remind Us of that game: “Forgiveness? Retaliation. Forgiveness? Retaliation…”

(from Hot Rod Cowgirl)

Well now, We must consider the remaining ones with equal attention.

You! We are speaking.

You have been allowed to see behind the curtain, but no longer.

Stop looking over there.

Focus on Our task at paw.

We wish to prop our chin on your hand for a bit.

You may gently tickle Our chin as We consider.

(from CATachresis)

Yet another submitted by that Blogger Company.

Busy busy as little mice do you suppose?

Perhaps We should tour their studio – to encourage them.

And see for Ourselves if a mousie assistant is there. Perhaps to recruit for a position here?

Such an explosive design. Looks bold and determined. Aggressive.

Oh, perfect! Someone was perceptive. That Blogger group!

It’s just the pattern to put by the front porch window!

Surely this will be a warning to that chubby grey porch-potato cat who keeps blocking Our view of the outdoor realm.

He will see this and be moved!

Speaking of being moved.

Did We give leave to stop stroking Our chin?

We thought not.

But understanding your limited capacity for sustained poses, We shall excuse.

We have mousies to attend.

 Our paw has waved.

You now have Our permission to withdraw.

Fini. Adieu.

And don’t forget to leave an open can of food in the doorway as tribute.

I am RC Cat and I approve this message.

RC Cat at the risk of the wrath of your royal paw, are your sure it was only the negligent staff who delayed this task or did it have something to do with oh dear, The German isn’t here so what is one to do but get on with the task of basking in the limelight…? There is however an excellent array and amount of awards, you have done very well 🙂

One would think that creature would have packed it all upon leaving. But as RC Cat, we must be understanding of others. We have received word the German has acquired a new trick. We shall prod the staff to investigate.

Ah those pesky awards. How best to deal with them? I just got an illuminating one but it is a totally different picture to yours, mine is a rather discrete flickering candle. So nicely understated. Just as well you didn’t play by the rules and end up listing 100 things about yourself and 100 other blogs or we would be here all day. Well you would be. We, of course would be fast asleep.
