Unleashed! It’s Halloween, for Petey’s sake!

It was cornered, but stood firm.

Presenting a bold face to the rest of the block.

Standing solid, despite the curbs.

Brushing aside web entanglements.

Withstanding storms of weather, bluster, and politics.

Building from rubble and ridicule.

Courage with conviction streaming.

(Maybe a little hung over – giddy from that.)

During the darkest times, brightly reaching out to others across the yard.

The house dressed patriotically for Halloween

A house of horror?

It’s a real scream! (and maybe a hoot ‘n a holler?)

Ghoulishly clever, dog!

Off the leash, the patriotic Halloween house is best of show.

Election campaign brought you to heel?

Tired of all the hounding?

Dog trot on over to shelter.

Shake off doubts and sit. Down.

Vote Petey for pack leader!

“Raise a leg, not taxes”

“Bark up the right tree” Petey urges!

(Note it’s blue for “Bark” and red for  ”Mutt”.)

Petey, with his spotty heritage, can be counted on to be friend to all.

He’s all ears.

Bound to be able to sniff out anything rotten.

Knows where the bones are buried.

(Might have a little dirt on his paws, but what candidate doesn’t?)

Ready to run all day, then happily relax with the family.

Always quick with a smile.

Might even be willing to do a few tricks for treats.

He’s definitely shown a light on things.

Paws up for Petey and his campaign staff!

A tail acknowledged.

Phil, the Philosopher Mouse of the Hedge.

Pretty clever. So the HOUSE is in costume, as an election!

I love the pledge not to raise taxes (even if it is a bit sexist).

“Paws up for Petey and his campaign staff!” I agree. And I promise to vote Petey should his name appear on my ballot.

It’s becoming clear… the residents of this house have a clever & quirky sense of humour, and the creative abilities to complement it. I’d vote for Petey :)

I love their sense of humor. (Cracked up at the ‘raise a leg not taxes’ sign.) “Mutt” and “Bark” That’s so clever! Too bad I already filled out my ballot or I could’ve written in Petey :)

It’s hard to see in the pictures, but he’s a really cute dog – and one with owners who know how to have fun. Thanks for the giggles

Haha, I like the signs that they added! Too funny :)

I’m so relieved. Petey has it paws down!

We have to laugh. Otherwise this entire campaign would have us all on the funny farm by now.

Okay, that is a unique post. And yes, a dog would make a better president than the two top candidates running. Go, Petey, go!

A totally original house (hope they took it all down before the storm). Those people deserve a big round of applause. Thanks for voting to view
